U2030 and Georgia Power are teaming up to offer the Design Thinking Masterclass, "U2030 Design-Think-a-Thon: Breaking Down Silos to Overcome the Energy & Water Capacity Dilemma." It will be held at Georgia Power's headquarters May 14-15, 2024, and will kick off with an optional community service project.
Design Thinking, which you will learn and practice during this masterclass, will allow you to explore the depths of your creativity in a safe space, elevate your problem-solving skills, and acquire the tools and resources to effect positive change.
This masterclass is designed for utility professionals from customer and operations-focused departments and individuals specializing in innovation and transformation.
Participating will give you valuable insights into navigating this complex landscape and contributing to developing sustainable solutions.

Work in small groups to rate each solution on predefined attributes such as cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and impact. Each group will plot their ratings on the radar graph, with points on the axes representing the intensity of each attribute. The solutions with the broadest coverage on the graph will be identified as most promising and win the think-a-thon.

Join in the excitement of a dynamic awards ceremony hosted by comedian and business development executive from Cinch Home Services, Dwight Scruggs.
